Hi friend, Here is the required answer:-
LHS-. (a-b)²= a²+b²-2ab
RHS- (a+b)²-4ab = a²+b²+2ab-4ab= a²+b²-2ab.
Since LHS = RHS
So this equation is verified.
I hope you understood..

Step-by-step explanation:

____________________

We know the algebraic identities:

1) (x+y)² = x²+2xy+y²

2)(x-y)² = x²-2xy+y²

____________________

Now,

RHS = (a+b)²-4ab

= a²+2ab+b²-4ab

= a²-2ab+b²

= (a-b)²

= LHS

Therefore,

(a-b)²=(a+b)²-4ab
