How is a living thing different from something which has never lived

a living has a locomotion inside them when non. Living things dont have and the breath
But non living things doesn't breath!!

Living things can breathe,can move from one place to another,can do many other activities but non living things cannot breathe,they are stationery.So,living things are different from something which has never lived i.e.non living things
