how is a shehnai different from pungi​

fungi has a round circular structure at the centre from which air is stored and sound is produced it has only two holes while shehnai has seven holes and a tube like structure flat at the end which produces pleasant sound

a pungi was banned in the period of Aurangzeb emperor due to unpleasant sound of pungi as the barber from the family of musicians he took a hollow stem pipe with seven holes on it he played it in the royal court so it get it name Shah but created by barber so it was named by shehnai
