The agricultural state of Rajisthan comprises of 22.5% . The region is dry and arid. The annual rainfall is very less. The major portion of the region is parched and infertile so its difficult for the farmers to carry out agriculture in this region. So the agriculture is carried out through the process of irrigation. This region has two seasonal crops Rabi and Kharif. In irrigation the water is drawn from tube wells and wells.
