Answer:- Artificial pollination is the process in which pollination does not occur naturally but is rather influenced by humans,where they carry the pollen of the flower to another flower and allow them to fertilize the flower.

In this method ,the pollen grains of the desired flower are deposited on the stigma of the  emasculated flower (whose anther has been removed)natural pollination is dependent on large number of different factor. Artificial pollination helps the plant breeders to overcome such problems,It also helps them produce a new and variety of crops with desired features by helping them in cross breed and pollinate.
