Brain is protected from shock and injury due to Cerebrospinal Fluid( it's generally present in between skull or cranium). It absorbs all the injuries and shocks.

Brain is located in a bony box called skull . There are 3 memberanes surrounding the brain called as meninges . Between thses 3 memberanes there is a fluid called cerebrospinal fluid which protects the brain from mechanical shocks
