Answer:

When fossil fuels are burned, they release carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases, which in turn trap heat in our atmosphere, making them the primary contributors to global warming and climate change.

take care beautiful!

Answer:

Burning of fossil fuels is related to global warming because the unburnt carbon particles form Carbon Monoxide (CO) gas, which is a very poisonous gas. Fossil fuels also burn with a sooty flame, which results in increment of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, resulting in global warming.

Characteristics of a good fuel are:

1. It should be easy to store.

2. It should have a high calorific value.

3. It should have a low ignition temperature but higher than room temperature.

4. It should be cheap, readily available and easy to transport.

5. It should not produce harmful gases after burning.

6. It should undergo complete and controllable combustion.

Hope it helps
