The use of chronogenetics to predict the future is of great importance in medical field. Chronic genetic uses the principle of mutation of the gene in a person. If there is a mutation the proto oncogene may be converted into an oncogene.

Explanation:

  • Such oncogene may be responsible for production of malignant tumors.
  • Hence by tracing the conversion of oncogene from proto oncogene, the prediction of the future cases of malignancy is done and regular screening is done on such patient so that they do not advance to the later stages of the disease.
