How is co2 and oxygen transported in human beings?
Answers
Answer:
when we inhale air oxygen reaches the alveoli in lungs which is surrounded by a thin capillary capillary carry blood in them the oxygen diffuses from the alveoli was to the blood in capillaries this blood travels to the body, hemoglobin binds with oxygen and carries it along with blood carbon dioxide is produced as a waste product in respiration in the cells of tissue the carbon dioxide is transported in dissolved form of blood which caries back to the lungs where it
diffuse into alveoli and then to the trachea and finally from nostrils to out of the body into air
hope it helps you
Process of Transport of Oxygen:
Haemoglobin transports oxygen molecule to all the body cells for cellular respiration .
Process of Transport of carbon dioxide:
Since haemoglobin pigment has less affinity for CO2, CO2 is mainly transported in the dissolved form. This deoxygenated blood gives CO2 to lung alveoli and takes O2 in return.
