Coal and petroleum is found in deep inside our earth's crust. Deep mines are made for extraction of coal and petroleum and taken out from the earth.

\impliesCoal and petroleum are fossil fuels ,they are organic in nature and are produced from plants and animal remains.

Coal is obtained from decayed plant and trees which got buried under sediments. They become decomposed and compressed. In course of time, due to action of heat and pressure they got changed into black coal.

Coal is found in Russia ,USA,China, Australia etc.

Petroleum is found in Kuwait,Saudi Arabia ,Iran ,Iraq and U.A.E.
