- Coal is mostly carbon with variable amounts of variable other elements.
How coal formed : -
- As we say coal is sedimentary rock so the process is also like all other sedimentary rocks.
- But sometimes it is metamorphic rock like it made beacuse of pressure and heat.
- Well coal is formed when dead plants matter decay and after millions of years it truned into coal.
