When Sulphide ore is heated in air it converts into copper oxide and SO2 is Left ,Again Copper Oxide Is Reduced To Copper on heating

Ore of copper is Copper sulfide or Copper glance. When it is roasted or heated in presence of excess oxygen it gets converted to copper oxide and sulphur dioxide. This copper oxide reacts with remaining copper glance to form copper and sulphur dioxide.
