Democracy is superior to any other form of govt. the reasons are as follows:
1. Democracy improves the quality of decision making- Democracy is based on consultations and discussions. A democratic decision always involves many persons, discussions and meetings. So as there are more number of people while taking decisions- many people put their heads together, they are able to point out possible mistakes, they can come up with different opinions and ideas. This reduces chances of bad or irresponsible decisions.
2. In Democracy, rulers are elected by citizens- People have full right to choose their own rulers. If they are not happy or satisfied with the ruling government then they are free to go againt it.
3. In democratic form of government, rulers are obliged rule within the limits and laws- that is every ruler including President cannot break any rules or cross any limits just because they want.
In other form of government like Monarchy (rule of king) or dictatorship (rule by dictator- a ruler with total power over a country, typically one who has obtained control by force) no citizens can go against the ruler. They dont even get to choose their own ruler. And all the decision are taken only by one person, that is, the ruler- may the decision be good or bad.
