1.World Bank uses the criteria of Per Capita Income whereas UNDP uses the criteria of HDI which covers efucation,life expectancy etc.

2.Word bank uses a narrow concept while UNDP uses a broad concept.

3.World bank classifies Countries as rich or poor while UNDP ranks the countries.

UNDP uses
health standards (BMI,Life expectancy rate) ,
Education level (Gross enrollment ratio, net attendance ratio and literacy rate)
and standard of life (Per capita income)
to measure development .
UNDP is more effective in measuring the development than world bank .
