Disease are transmitted in plants by : -
1) Vegetative Propagation ,where the baby plant has the same characteristics of that of parent plant..
2) Cross Pollination ,if any plant is infected the other will also get infected..

Sometimes if a plant having a disease come in contact with another plant, disease gets transmitted. This may be through their parts coming in contact, specially the aerial parts of that plant.
Even, through pollination by insects, disease gets transmitted from one plant to another.
