It makes the parents to feel that growing up a girl child & giving dowry would be very loss where boys need not give any dowry rather they earn by dowry

women are not exploited outside their homes. they are subjected to discrimination in their homes. For ex. dowry,domestic violence etc.
Dowry is a cause to gender discrimination as dowry is taken only from the families of girls not from boys.
