Explanation:

membrane biogenesis is a process in which plasma membrane is formed again when it ruptures. Rough endoplasmic reticulum consists of  ribosomes which helps in protien formation and smooth endoplasmic reticulum consists of lipids,so it helps in formation of plasma mebrane as plasma membrane is made up of protiens and lipids.
