Environment is helpful to us in many ways. There is a cycle of nature. We all are indirectly dependent on nature as we consume a lot of things from it. First and foremost we are able to breathe if we live in a pure environment. Secondly, environment is a great help behind the running of factories. The fancy and expensive things we enjoy today which are made in factories are made with the things we get from nature like cotton, jute, leather, paper etc. Thus environment is helpful to us and it should be preserved.
