This happens because most of the excretory products of plants are converted into harmless compounds before excretion. They can be used by humans in their daily activities. Rubber, wax, tarpene, etc. are examples of such excretory products.

Excretion among plants produces simple substances which are taken up by the atmosphere and used by other organisms.
Explanation:
Excretion among plants produces simple substances which are taken up by the atmosphere and used by other organisms.
- Plants do not posses a complex excretory system. Simple elements are eliminated through cells.
- The common products eliminated are carbon dioxide, oxygen, excess water, saps etc.
- Photosynthetic plants produce oxygen as the byproduct of their metabolism, Oxygen produced is diffused into the atmosphere through stomata. Oxygen is necessary for life and all living organism depend on it.
- Where anaerobic respiration takes place carbon dioxide is eliminated through stomata. It is necessary to maintain carbon balance in the atmosphere and the plants take up the carbon dioxide exhaled by them for photosynthesis.
- Excess water in plants lost by transpiration and guttation (droplets of water is eliminated through the plant cells). Water eliminated is present in the atmosphere as atmospheric moisture, Humans need certain levels of atmospheric moisture to be able to respire.
- Plants where sap, resin or latex is produced Hydrostatic pressure is applied from within to secrete these. Such products are used as raw material to produce Rubber, cloth materials, etc.
- The products eliminated by plants are used for several purposes by humans and other animals, it is necessary to sustain the ecosystem.
