Excretion is a process in which waste and toxic products from an organism are expelled out.

Uses of plant excretions:

• Unlike animals, plants do not have a special organ for excretion.
• Organic wastes produced by the plants such as latex, rubber, oil, etc., are helpful to humans.
• Some process involved in excretion of plants includes storing, transpiration, and diffusion.

Example:

• Gaseous products also get released as wastes during photosynthesis and respiration.
• Oxygen released during photosynthesis find its use in respiration by humans and animals.
