Fertilisation in a hen is different from fertilisation in a frog by the following way-

In hen, fertilisation is the case of internal fertilisation and external development. Here, fertilisation takes place in the female body, but the zygote formed comes out of the female body as egg. It is then incubated for 21 days by the hen.

In frogs, fertilisation is the case of external fertilisation and external development. Here, Fertilisation takes place outside the body i.e., in water. Both gametes fuse inside the water. No incubation is required for the zygote.
