how is food synthesised in plants by photosynthesis

In plants food is synthesized in leaves in specialized organelles. During photosynthesis, chlorophyll containing cells of leaves in the presence of sunlight, use carbon dioxide and water to synthesize basic sugar called glucose. - During the process oxygen is released and glucose is formed.
