Food is made in the green leaves of plants by the process of photosynthesis. This food is transported to all other parts of the plant by PHLOEM VESSELS. The process of transporting food in plants is called translocation.

The transport of soluble product of photosynthesis is called translocation . It occurs through phloem a part of vascular tissue they transport amino acid and other substances which are especially delivered to the storage organs of root , fruit , seed and  growing organ
