Lack of iodine in your body. If u dont take salt then goitre in caused in the neck.

Goitre is enlargement of thyroid gland. It is caused due to deficiency of dietary Iodine. Sometimes it can occur due to hyperthyroidism.

It can be prevented by using iodised table salt.
