Green revolution is different from traditional revolution in a way that latter used old, conventional ways for farming. In traditional farming farmers used to plough or rear the land with the help of animals. They didn't used any sprays. They only rely upon fertilizers. The yield used to be very limited. In green revolution the new techniques are being used. Fertilizers are being used. Genetic engineering is being carried out in order to increase the yield. The insecticides and pesticides are used.
