Hydrogen peroxide is commonly prepared in laboratory using sodium peroxide but one of the method for its formation is with that of phosphoric acid.
When sodium peroxide reacts with phosphoric acid it results in the formation of crystals of sodium hydrogen phosphate along with hydrogen peroxide as the main product.
Na2O2+ H3PO4________> NaHPO4+ H2O2
Uses:
1. It is used as a mild antispetic for cuts and burns.
2. It also acts as a mouth freshner, helping in getting rid of irritaion.
3. It also acts as a bleaching agent for your hair.
4. It can also be used to clean up face acne and scars.
