 \boxed{hello}

Adjacent sides of a parallelogram = 48 cm and 36 cm .

Distance between the shorter sides = 16 cm

Distance between longer sides = ?

Now,

Distance between the shorter sides is the height corresponding to the shorter side as the base.

So,

Area of parallelogram = base × height

= (36 × 16) cm²

= 576 cm²

Again,

Distance between the longer sides is the height corresponding to the longer side as the base.

So,

48 × height = 576

=> height = 576/48

=> height = 12 cm
