well the formula for kinetic energy is 1/2 mass * velocity. here it clearly reflects that the k. e. of an object with its velocity will also depend upon the mass of the object

Kinetic energy is denoted by k and is the energy possessed by an object due to its motion...

Mass is given by m

So, k = 1 / 2 mv²
