How is manure and fertilizer to mainatain the soil fertilty

Manure i. Manures are rich in organic matter and poor in nutrients.ii.Bulk of organic matter helps in increasing the soil fertility.iii.Organic matter increases the water holding capacity in sandy soil and also helps to avoid water logging in clayey soil.iv. Reduces soil erosion and provides food to the microorganisms.Fertilizer
i. Fertilizers are rich in nutrients and poor in organic matter. ii. Provides specific nutrients to the plants.iii. Excessive use of fertilizer destroys soil fertility because organic matter is not replenished and microorganisms are harmed.iv. Excess fertilizer gets washed away due to excessive irrigation and causes water pollution.

manure is natural component which helps to increase soil fertility. It includes dead organism, decomposed material and so on ..... In manure the nutrients avibility is slow but permanent


fertiliser is a artificial component which also increase soil fertility but nutrients are may be available.

Both manure and fertiliser contain 17 elements which help to increase soil fertility.
