How is movement ina snake related to the flexibility of its back bone?

snake will create loop like structure when it is in movement. loop is nothing but the criss cross gap between snakes body .so when they move they will gain flexibility we can't do anything with our back bone but snake can

The structural composition of back bone allows us to bend, crouch, stand and lie down on the ground. The vertebral units promote this movement. If back bone is made up of one long bone then we would never be able to sit, crouch or lie. One single bone means no flexibility in the structure of a bone.
