nature is responsible for the land degradation by the following ways;
1.The running water cuts through the clayey soils and makes deep channels as gullies. The land becomes unfit for cultivation and is known as bad land.
2.sheet erosion- the top layer of soil is washed away by the flow of water as a sheet over large areas down a slope.
3.Degradation of soil may occur due to the heavy wind which can cause soil erosion.thus the soil loses its fertility.
