Noise pollution is one of the greatest threats of human life. This situation is worsened by the community noise created by modern living and scientific and technological advancement. Described as "unwanted sound", noise has physical, physiological and psychological connotations, all of which differ. It is noted that 85 Decibel A is the internationally accepted threshold level for hearing damage and that a habitual exposure or a continuous steady state-noise above this level almost invariably causes hearing impairment.Noise at high decibel levels causes mental stress, which in turn brings about fatigue and eventually, the performance quality goes down.
Two ways-
1)Turn off Appliances at Home and offices- We can turn off home and office appliances when not in use such as TV, games, computers etc.
2)Lower the volume- We can listen songs, radios, TVs in lower volume when listening from headphones or speakers.
