How is oxygen and co2 transported in human beings how are lungs designed in human?

Answer :

O2 is transported by Haemoglobin.

CO2 is transported as bicarbonates, or through plasma.

Lungs have bronchi - bronchioles - which end in alveoli which have circular shape to increase rate of exchange of gases.
