how is ozone formed in upper atmosphere ? why is damage to ozone layer a cause concern to us ? what cause this damage.

ultraviolet ray break the oxygen molecules. (O2 > O+ O.)
And now that single atom react with a O to form ozone..(O+ O2= O3)
damaged to this layer create concern because,this protecte us fron harmful rays that may cause cancer to us.
