Political Excecutive is in power as long as it has the confidence of the Lok Sabha.
Belongs to a political party and is elected directly by people
He/She is involved in Policy making.
An administrative head of govt. dept. who is responsible in Parliament.
E.g. Prime Minister, Council of Ministersetc
Permanent Excecutive has salaried civil servants
They are Civil heads of departments
Appointed on the basis of merit
The tenure of office is permanent and fixed
Under the direction and control of political Excecutive and provide continuity in government
E.g. Chief Secretary, District Collectors etc
