Major psychological effects of poverty and deprivation:
- The poor and deprived leads to low-self esteem, introversion, live only in present rather than future, high anxiety.
- They face hopelessness, powerlessness, experience power of injustice, loss of identity.
- Their mental health will be disturbed and mental disorder will lead to unquestionable relationship.
