How is prepared food transported to different parts of the plant?

Prepared food is transferred to other parts of plant by the leaves but more specifically by PHOLEM which transports food material from leaves to different parts.

palak9: ya it is transported by the PHOLEM VESSELS AND GENERALLY IN DOWNWARD DIRECTION BUT WHEN IF WE MEAN THE PRODUCT OF PHOTOSYNTHESIS. HOWEVER IF WE MEAN THE FOOD THAT IS NURIENTS FROM THE SOIL IT IS TRANSPORTED BY XYLEM VESSELS IN UPWARD DIRECTION...

Prepared food is transported to different parts of the plant through leaves.Some special tubes called xylem and phloem pick up essential substances like food and water at one end of the plant body and carry them to all other parts.
