the gas particles hit the walls of the container due to random motion (cuz of increasing entropy) with some force. this force causes a pressure on the wall's surface creating a net outward force on from the container

Gas has a lot of kinetic energy. In a container full of gas there is movement of the particles of gas and they exert pressure from the inside on the walls of the container and they also keep bumping into each other which creates a lot of pressure.
