The properties of liquid pressure are:-
•The pressure in a liquid increases with depth. The pressure of water is highest at the lowest point of the cylinder as the water spurts out the furthest from this point.
•The pressure in a liquid does not depend on the shape or size of the container.
•The pressure in a liquids acts in all direction.

Thrust : Force exerted by an object perpendicular to the surface is called thrust. Pressure : Force exerted by any object per unit area is called pressure. Where, p is pressure, F is thrust or force and A is the surface area of the object. Thus pressure is related to the thrust exerted on a surface area.
