How is reproduction carried out in Hydra

In Hydra asexual reproduction takes place.In it an outgrowth called bud is formed on the parent Hydra,then bud gradually grow in size and gets detached from the parent.After detaching bud develops into an adult Hydra similar to the parent.

Hydra develop from body wall of parent as bulblike projections called buds they may be uni or multicellular. the buds finally seperate to form new individuals this whole process is called budding...
