Hydra reproduces by the process of budding in which a bud is formed as a small out growth on the parent body. This bud breaks off when mature and develops into another individual. The reproduction in amoeba is through binary fission. Genetic material is replicated and the parent cell is pinched off from the center to form two daughter cells.
