how is self pollination different from cross pollination

self pollination :-
self means by itself hence in self pollination only one flower is needed.

now, cross pollination :-
cross means between two individuals hence in cross pollination two individuals is needed and also some vactor like flies, bees etc

If it's to be explained in simple terms then; self pollination is a type of pollination in which there is involvement of a single flower whereas in cross pollination there's involvement of 2 flowers, either on the same plant or different plant.
