During Solvay process, sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) precipitates out of the solution.
NaCl + CO2 + NH3 + H2O → NaHCO3 + NH4Cl
The sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) that precipitates out in the above reaction is filtered out from the hot ammonium chloride (NH4Cl) solution.

CaCO3 --------- CaO+ CO2 (by heating )
CaO + NH3+h2o-----NH4HCO3
NH4HCO3 + NaCl--------NaHCO3+NH4Cl
Then heat NaHCO3 as
NaHCO3 ------ Na2CO3 +.CO2 + H2O
And this is preparation of sodium carbonate
