Through the anus, solid waste passed as stool , Gaseous waste is given out while expiration in breathing process. Very thin and highly branched capillaries ensure that all cells are supplied with blood and osmosis through these capillaries being extremely thin is easy. A plant with vaseline on leaves blocks the pores and inhibits transpiration and evaporation, vaseline also reflects sunlight decreasing light absorption. The plant would not remain healthy for long. Xylem vessels ,transport water along with minerals in tall trees , by turgor pressure created by transpiration and cohesion and adhesion.
