The spinal cord in the human body is protected by thick epithelial tissues that soften the fall due to an accident.

The brain is protected by a big shell-like structure called the skull.

Both these protective layers are very useful for the human body.

If these two are not present, the survival of the human race is very difficult.

Here's ur Answer Mate:-

The Brain is the highest coordinating unit of our body.

β€’It is protected by a thick bony covering called Cranium(skull). We can say that brain is located within a bony box. The cranium has three layers called meninges.

They have gaps between them which contains cerebrospinal fluid which acts as a shock absorber thus protecting the brain from mild injuries.

This meninges protect the spinal cord also.

Hope it helps uh!
