subsistence farming is practised by farmers who own small pieces of land search farmers grow just enough crops to meet any sandoz of their family they generally grow rice or vegetables and use organic and natural fertilizers such such as cow dung animal dropping and dead and dried plant they depend on monsoon rains to water their crops whereas

in commercial farming crops are grown on a large scale for selling the product product in the market both at home and abroad the aim of this type of farming is to earn profit the farms may or may not be very large modern methods of cultivation such as yielding variety of seeds chemical fertilizers and pesticides are used along with modern irrigation techniques and the cold storage to store to the product after harvest

Answer: Subsistence agriculture is different from commercial agriculture because in subsistence agriculture agriculture is done on a small scale by farmers for personal consumption but in commercial agriculture agriculture is done on a lage scale for selling the produce in market.
