How is sun burning whereas no oxygen is in space?

The Sun does not "burn", like we think of logs in a fire or paper burning. TheSun glows because it is a very big ball of gas, and a process called nuclear fusion is taking place in its core. ... Hydrogen really doesn't burn, it fuses, into helium. So no oxygen is required....

actually sun produces heat bcoz the hydrogen atoms present in it are continuously changing into helium atoms that results in evolution of energy in the form of heat
and this heat evolution does not require energy as it is not "burning".........
it's just heat energy
