The Tertiary sector is different from the other two sectors because the other sectors produce goods by itself. Instead, the Tertiary sector activities help in the development of the Primary and Secondary sectors.

These activities are an aid to provide support for the production process. e.g.transport, communication, storage, banking, insurance, trade activities, etc. For this reason, this sector also known as Service sector.
