how is the boiling point of water affected the following cases;

(1) increase in atmospheric pressure.

  1. Increase in Atmospheric pressure means decrease in temperature. So , boiling rate is going to decrease.

PRESSURE IS INVERSELY PROPORTIONAL TO TEMPERATURE & VICE VERSA.

  1. Decrease in Atmospheric pressure means increase in temperature. So , boiling rate is going to increase.
  2. Addition of common salt is likely to increase it's boiling point because adding salt adds up it's own temperature in it.
