How is the concentration of hydronium ion affected when a solution of an acid is diluted?

when a solution of an acid is diluted then it realeses a high amount of hydronium ions , since it is an acid.

when an acid in diluted the concentration of hydronium ions decreases when an acid is diluted because on adding water the ions of the acid and hydroxyl ions of water react ito from water react to form water molecules and the concentration of hydronium ions decrease
